Arambh is a non-profit organization for uplifting the under privileged children in our society. It is a small initiative by a group of people dedicated to give back to the society which nurtured and uplifted them. The dedicated educationists, philanthropists , activist and lots of eager young blood are part of this organization. Each one of us bring our best to this organization by means of experience , resources and an unbounded enthusiasm to give chance to the not so fortunate children.
We believe that by educating these children we can help and change the social and economic structure of our society for the better. Children are the ambassadors of change in the society we (live) work in. we strive to build a sustainable and socially just platform from where these children get a chance to better themselves and become literate and also economically self reliant.
Children’s education, nutrition, hygiene and protection are at the centre of our focus. In each of our initiatives me measure the progress of our work by the progress that the children and their families achieve. The work done by our target group will be under constant evaluation, and will be compared against set benchmarks. This will enable us to provide continuous appraisal to our children and take remedial measures wherever deemed necessary. We will endeavour to focus comprehensively on out of the classroom counselling of our students.
This will allow them to not only excel academically but also be up to the mark in crucial areas such as hygiene, etiquettes, citizen responsibility etc. such a holistic approach to all round personal development will ensure that our organization is not just changing out students who are potential cogs in the machinery, but instead strong individuals who are able to think for themselves and act on the basis of sound judgement and value system.
We will strive to ensure that our teachers do not just teach students to learn by adhering to the rote learning method, but instead think on their feet and take round decisions based on the real world scenarios. Our focus areas will not just be to economic equality through education, but also about the myriad social and environmental issues facing our country today.
We believe in not just subjecting our students through a pre-conceived pedagogy and then cutting off all this with them. Instead we desire to focus on their overall development and hope that they will further our vision by giving back as much as they get.
Ours is not just an NGO , it is a person centric initiative.
